As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points, observe incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report access concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as appropriate. Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
