School-Based Physical Therapist - Mebane, NC

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of North Carolina
• Previous experience delivering PT services within school or pediatric settings
• Strong clinical and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and other providers
• Excellent time management-capable of working independently and efficiently within a flexible, variable-hour schedule

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Monitor progress and regularly update documentation to maintain compliance
• Adjust treatment plans to accommodate compensatory services and evolving student needs
• Support students across two school buildings, located just across the street from each other
• Work with a small caseload: currently two students-one receiving weekly PT and another receiving PT services once per reporting period
• Maintain open lines of communication with teachers, school staff, and family members
• Adapt to changing scheduling needs, with the potential for more hours as caseload increases throughout the year
