Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide critical care to pediatric patients in the CVPICU. This role requires a highly skilled nurse who can manage patients ranging from neonates to adults with cardiac diseases. The nurse will float to the PICU as needed, ensuring high-quality care and support for critically ill children.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for intubated and ventilated patients.
• Administer inotropes and vasoactive medications.
• Provide standard care to reduce CLABSI through the use of central lines, arterial lines, and PIVs.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2.
• Transfer and admit patients within the same shift as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, specifically in a critical care environment.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Valid nursing license for Ohio or Multi-State Compact license.
