Possible straight time overtime and a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off) ** RequiredTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with experience in the field or related area.Proficient in C++, Fortran, and PythonExperience in product delivery utilizing source code management tools such as Git/GitLabExperience with implementing and enforcing software coding standardsExperience in the full software lifecycle activities e.g. requirements, design, implementation, testing, and releaseProficient in use of CI/CD tools and techniquesProficient in use of software task management/collaboration toolsExperience with Agile frameworks, methodologies, and techniquesExperience working in multiple environments including Windows, Mac, and LinuxExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in a team environment consisting of NASA civil servants and contractor employeesStrong interpersonal skills to enable successful performance in a collaborative engineering teamAbility to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervisionAbility to prepare written documents and to verbally present at meetingsExperience with Microsoft Office products.Preferred Experience with NASA Software Engineering Requirements NPR-7150.2D or DO-178CExperience with NASA Software Assurance and Software Safety Standard.
