Location: Bartlesville OK 74003 Duration: 12+ Months Pay: $18.00/hr – $20.00/hr on W2 without benefits Shift: 3:30PM - 2:00AM Monday – Friday

Summary:

• Build unwound stators by stacking laminations onto mandrel and inserting them into housing with a 100-ton horizontal press.
• Straighten unwound stators utilizing a propane/oxygen torch and water or a 100-ton vertical press. Must lift instruments that weigh as much as 40 pounds to verify straightness.
• Wind stators by pushing or pulling copper magnet wire through laminations. The number of wire in each slot varies from 3 to 32 wires. Each wire is formed inside a housing that varies in diameter from 3.5 inches to 5.25 inches.
• Varnish stators by installing varnish tooling that weights up to 40 pounds, operate a personal computer and hang stator in vertical oven. Requires working on catwalks and ladders as high as 35 feet above floor level. Employee encounters ambient temperatures as high as 135o F and stator temperatures as high as 340o F when working the ovens.
• Installing leads consists of soldering brush cable to magnet wire. In-house Soldering Certification is required. All work is performed at eye level.
• Inspecting stators requires being familiar with Manufacturing Process Instruction and blueprints. All stators must pass quality checks performed by each Electrical Employee throughout the process including visual and electrical tests.
• Build switchboards to order using blueprints and perform final test using a 3-phase load tester.
