Program Operations Manager (Onsite)

Manufacturing Strategy LeaderThis position will directly support a Program Management Office (PMO) in leading manufacturing strategy for programs in development. This role is responsible for making and driving decisions for Manufacturing Strategy, Planning and Execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manufacturing and / or Product Development Operations in the defense industry and must have experience leading New Product Introduction activities. The Candidate will support classified & unclassified programs within a technically diverse portfolio of complex products.This is an onsite role in Largo, FL.What you will do:Oversee and coordinate the execution aspects of ongoing projects and services as liaison between program management team and support functional organizations.General Management and/or Creation of artifacts for Manufacturing strategy planning, Proposals, early Gates Reviews, Financials, Infrastructure/Capital Projects, Appropriation Requests (ARs), etc.Develop / Manage Operations content in Proposals (Recurring and non recurring Basis of Estimate) and Program EACs.Identify, monitor, and report on Program risks and opportunities and support Program Risk Review Board for new products.Engagement in Product Development, Producibility, Testability and how/where to "Make" Product.Kickoff Operations Program planning at Gate 5 for new Programs and assure manufacturing readinessEngage with engineering and supply chain on requirements flow down for Operations and Supply Chain partners.Engage in Program Test and Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (TRR/MRR) and ensure alignment to manufacturing plan and support of factory requirements.
