Senior Technology Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technology Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a key technology project for a client's Microsoft Platforms Integration program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, contribute to organizational change management activities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and architects, along with business and technical stakeholders, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
• Define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, constraints, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment with project objectives.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, architects, engineers, technology team leads, and business teams, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Provide clear direction, mentorship, and support to project team members.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Track project progress against milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas of improvement and share lessons learned.
• Track all risks and constraints and ensure mitigation plans align with the project schedule.

Budget and Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, ensuring financial control and accountability.
• Allocate resources effectively, balancing team workload and project priorities.
• Ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other external partners.

Technical Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management within the technology or software development industry, specifically:
  • Windows migrations
  • Office365 consolidations
  • Microsoft Tenant to Tenant migrations
  • Application authentication across multiple Microsoft tenants
  • Networking configurations
  • Data migration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to integrate change management processes into a project plan.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as:
  • ServiceNow
  • Microsoft Planner
  • Microsoft Project
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM).
• Experience with risk management and change management processes (ProSci and ADKAR).
• PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, ScrumMaster, or other relevant project management certifications.
