SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide temporary support with an annual I-9 compliance audit. This individual will review employee I-9 documentation for accuracy and completeness, identify missing or incorrect information, and assist with ensuring records meet federal compliance requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing employee I-9 records
- Review forms and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Identify missing, incomplete, or potentially non-compliant I-9s
- Assist with corrections and follow-up documentation as needed
- Organize and maintain confidential employee records
- Partner with the HR team throughout the audit process
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience as an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, or similar HR support role
- Working knowledge of Form I-9 requirements and employment eligibility verification
- Prior experience conducting or assisting with an I-9 audit strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and accurately with employee documentation
