Manufacturing Engineer Full Time, Professional – Farmington, CT, US Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually Qualifications BSME or equivalent 5 years of work experience within a manufacturing environment Advanced knowledge of CAD such as NX Lean Six Sigma training and experience desired Understanding of Process Flow, PFMEA Excellent understanding of GD&T and standard technical drawing Strong customer service, organizational, and verbal skills Previous experience working with airfoil product preferred Three to five years of Manufacturing Engineer Experience Job Responsibilities Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows of compressor blades, vanes, and other machined components. Lead & manage New Product Introduction – new part routing, machining concept, and BOM. Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures. Assembles reports to document process status and changes. Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades. Communicates findings and proposals to upper management. Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes. Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Work with Quality Engineer to manage MRB activities.
