Job Opportunity: Hematopathologist

Our organization is currently in search of a seventh board-certified AP/CP pathologist with specialized training in hematopathology to enhance our growing Division of Hematopathology.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct hematopathology sign-outs, including bone marrow, tissue, and blood/CSF, on a rotating schedule.
• Participate in shared hematopathology on-call duties.
• Possessing a secondary area of expertise is a plus, though not mandatory.

Academic Responsibilities

• Engage in one-on-one and group sign-outs with hematopathology fellows, residents, medical students, and visiting observers.
• Deliver didactic lectures and lead unknown slide conferences, as well as supervise residents' presentations, including journal clubs, gross conferences, and grand rounds.
• Opportunities for translational research are available, and we encourage active participation.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary is competitive and based on experience and academic rank, ranging from $224,000 to $336,500 . Total compensation is competitive within the region and includes:

• An initial sign-on bonus.
• A substantial quarterly incentive component.

The Pathology department features 21 faculty members, an ACGME-accredited residency program, and a hematopathology fellowship program.
