You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service, and communicate concerns using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, providing directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and complete required documentation before the end of each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
