Safety Manager

Assistant Safety Director
Provides corporate- and project-level EH&S support. Functions as Assistant Safety Director at a corporate level. Administers operator equipment training programs. Conducts and documents audits of equipment, tools, and PPE. Conducts project safety audits of material handling procedures, housekeeping, job set-up and work practices (e.g. hot work, working at heights, etc.). Assists in incident and accident reporting and investigations with project manager. Assists in monthly documentation of all company and regulatory reporting protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current and working basic knowledge of applicable regulatory agency requirements and standards (e.g. MSHA, OSHA, state, etc.).
- Some secondary education in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering or related discipline.
- 3 or more years of experience working in refining or chemical operations in an HSE management role.
- 5 or more years of experience in Industrial or Construction industries.
