Certified Medical Assistant - Primary Care Totowa

Responsibilities Under general supervision and in accordance with established procedures, provide basic medical assistance to physicians/providers and nurses. Duties include basic preparation of patients according to area‑specific policies and procedures, such as taking vital signs, preparing charts, performing phlebotomy, assisting with procedures, and collecting lab samples. Utilize department‑specific computer systems for entry and retrieval of patient data. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent is required. Less than one year of previous work‑related experience is acceptable. Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Must hold and maintain current certification or registration from an accredited institution (e.g., AAMA, NHA, AMT). Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
