Position: Cashier

Summary of Responsibilities

As the first point of contact with customers, cashiers play a critical role in providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. The cashier will demonstrate a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, as well as excellence and efficiency in the workplace.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure it is ready for business every day.
• Clean and maintain work areas.
• Accurately complete transactions; accurate cash handling; processing accurate payments.
• Handle and manage rapid cash flow and be 100% accountable for company assets and property.
• Follow daily opening and closing procedures accurately.
• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Great customer service skills.
• Communicate effectively through speech, reading, and writing.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift a moderate amount of weight.
