Field Technician, U.S.

MRR is hiring Field Technicians to work hands-on with mechanical systems, piping, tanks, pumps, valves, and controls at job sites across the U.S. Every project is different, and your trade experience gives you a strong head start. We provide full training. What we're looking for is solid trade fundamentals, a safety-first mindset, and someone comfortable working in the field. What You’ll Do * Install, remove, and maintain odorization systems including tanks, piping, tubing, pumps, sensors, and fittings.

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Work with pressurized systems, valves, and fluid transfer equipment.
• Safely transfer odorants and assist with spill response when needed.
• Support natural gas pipeline pickling and commissioning projects.
• Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and schematics.
• Complete work orders, DOT documentation, and field reports using a tablet.
• Travel to project sites across the U.S. by vehicle or air.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings, piping layouts, or schematics.
• Physically capable of working outdoors and on your feet.
• Safety-minded with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable using basic technology for documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

• Oil and gas field operations or instrumentation.
• HVAC installation or service.
• Welding, pipefitting, or fabrication.
• Mechanical or industrial maintenance.
• Utilities, construction, or industrial trades.
