Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled RN to join our Outpatient Dialysis unit, providing specialized care for patients with renal conditions. The successful candidate will utilize clinical expertise to deliver safe, effective treatments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with standards of care.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, disease management, and post-care instructions.
• Participate in department performance improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize critical thinking to prioritize patient safety and escalate issues as necessary to appropriate leadership.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Wisconsin RN license.
• Verify education credentials and meet state licensure requirements.
• Maintain AHA Provider Level BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience in outpatient dialysis or nephrology nursing preferred.
• Possess strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
