HVAC Service Technician

Pearce is seeking experienced HVAC technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the San Angelo, Texas area.

Core responsibilities include maintaining cooling systems, conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment, performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment, responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services, and timely and accurate completion of daily work reports. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core experience includes being Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified, 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred), basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Physical/work environment includes complying with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards, being available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion, extensive daily travel in an independent work structure, occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem, driving to remote work sites as needed, being exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors, lifting and moving equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds), and being required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
