Glen Burnie boasts many convenient shopping and dining options, great public schools, and the 16,000 acre Patapsco Valley State Park.We have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland – Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland!This is a full-time, Nocturnist Physician position.The ICU is closed, and there are no procedures required.JOB DESCRIPTIONOur hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records.Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards.Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed.REQUIREMENTSBE/BC in Internal MedicineStrong inpatient skill setQuality-focused team playerExperience working with advanced practice providersExcellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skillsAbility to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary teamEffective oral and written communication skillsCommitment to providing exceptional patient careActive (state) license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration, ACLSSalary Range: $265,500k - $305,00k
