Per Diem / PRN MRI Technologist - $41 per hour

Job Title PRN MRI Technologist – GCMC (Lee Health) Summary Performs all MRI procedures and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the MRI area. Safely operates the scanner and injector to produce diagnostic quality MR images. Applies working knowledge of MR anatomy and pathophysiology to produce a high standard of quality images under the direction of a radiologist. Provides appropriate and safe patient care, works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction, participates in performance improvement initiatives, staff/student orientation, training, and performs venipuncture for appropriate exams. May transport non‑narcotic medications as directed. Requirements Educational Requirements – Graduation of a JRCERT‑Accredited or ARRT‑approved Radiography or MRI degree program. Experience Requirements – No experience required. Radiology or MRI degree graduates accepted. State of Florida Licensure Requirements – Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only. MRI degree for non‑radiology techs. Certifications / Registration Requirements – BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) required. ARRT Registered or eligible required.
