Quality TechnicianQuality TechnicianOption for 1/2 day on Fridays!Manufacturer of automated diagnostic, testing and production solutionsWhat's in it for you?HealthVisionDental401kand more!Quality Technician Details:Direct hire position$ 20.00 to $ 21.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Strong understanding of CNC programming, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and quality inspection processes.CMM Operation (Manual and DCC machines, CMM Manager software).Quality inspection checks 1st piece, hourly, final, last piece, backward recall on non-conforming product and implementing non-conforming product hold tags.Gauge Calibration/ Gage R&RMaintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Support day-to-day quality and production deliverables and initiatives. Lead teams to support continuous improvement efforts.Document testing and root cause analysis for internal or external problems.Create work instructions provide feedback and review Manufacturing issues that emerge through the work and assembly process with QM/ME on the solutions to address the issue.Follow quality standards to ensure parts are to the customer and company standards.Work pieces on CMM machine using hand tools and precision measuring instrumentsQuality Technician Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experienceKnowledge of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)Participate in continued education courses as required for new projects and career growth within XL (TQM/CQT/CQE)Knowledge of CMM software, ability to Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, and fixturesApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
