NPORT Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate  Registered Nurses (RNs)to provide school-based nursing services through the  Office of School Health (OSH)for the upcoming school year beginning  September 2026 .

We are currently hiring for both  Full-Time and Per Diem School Nurse positions , with flexible schedules available 1–5 days per week during school hours .

Position Summary

As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of students throughout the school day. Nurses will provide direct clinical care, manage chronic health conditions, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to ensure students receive the care they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with NYC Department of Education Office of School Health (OSH) guidelines and NPORT policies.
• Assess and manage student health concerns and medical emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate effectively with school personnel, parents/guardians, and healthcare providers.
• Promote student health and wellness within the school community.

Qualifications Required:

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience .
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
