Social Services Director with Geriatric Experience
Avir at Paris is seeking a qualified Social Services Director with Geriatric Experience to join our team in Paris, Texas. As a part-time Social Services Director, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents and their families. With a focus on resident-centered care, you will play a vital role in building a positive and compassionate facility culture.
Responsibilities:
- Provide social services to respond to the emotional needs of residents and their families
- Assist with resident admissions and referral process
- Develop and implement programs to meet the social, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a positive facility culture
- Manage and supervise social services staff as needed

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work
- At least one year of experience working in geriatrics
- Valid Driver's license
- Licensure required
- Previous experience with Nursing Homes preferred
