Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring BSN, IL RN licensure, and telemetry experience.

Job Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting,
• Telemetry work setting,
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,
• Weekend work required,
• No on-call requirements,
• 30-minute meal break,
• Required to float to 9 BT units plus overflow areas,

Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand required; emergency or pending licenses not accepted,
• BSN required,
• BLS certification through AHA required,
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred,
• Minimum 1 year of direct experience required,
• 2 years of charge nurse experience required,
• Skills checklist and 2 references required, with one reference from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the last year,
• All employment history with Northwestern Medicine or acquired facilities must be disclosed if applicable,

Additional Information

• May be required to float between facilities within the health system if requested by the unit manager,
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be added after submission,
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate,
