Adaptive RN | LPN | CMA - Clinical Float Specialist
We are seeking a compassionate and versatile healthcare professional licensed as an RN, LPN, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a dynamic clinical float team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care across multiple departments within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support by floating between various departments as needed.
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans under nursing supervision.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment options and care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care.
Education
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with current licensure as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Certified Medical Assistant eligible to practice in the Midwest region.
Experience and Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong independent work ethic, creativity, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to calm and support distressed or agitated patients and their families.
- Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
