Sr. Manager, Bio Design Center

Senior manager position leading the Plainville Bioprocess Design Center as a customer-facing technical platform. Combines hands-on bioprocessing expertise with laboratory oversight, project management, and team leadership to drive commercial enablement and product adoption in biopharmaceutical applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead Plainville Bioprocess Design Center as technical and service execution platform with customer-facing focus
- Establish priorities, coordinate resources, manage project execution, and ensure laboratory safety and efficiency
- Lead and mentor engineers, scientists, technicians, and technical staff while fostering collaborative culture
- Engage customers to understand processes and challenges; translate needs into practical solutions and opportunities
- Deliver customer-facing service projects with technical excellence and accelerate product adoption through demonstrations and validation
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 6 years experience, or bachelor's degree plus 8 years in strategic business planning or product development
- Experience with single-use technologies in biopharmaceutical or bioprocessing applications
- Working knowledge of bioprocessing workflows and laboratory environments
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to engage customers and translate technical requirements into commercial solutions
- Legal authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
