The On-site Supply Chain Manager will direct or coordinate production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, or financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer service, or safety.

Key Responsi bilities:

1. Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
2. Production planning/scheduling.
3. Responsible to achieve inventory goals each month RAW, WIP, and FG.
4. Collect, track and report daily information on shipments, finished goods inventory, standard and actual labor, dollars produced in plant, and parts scrapped.
5. Inventory control.
6. Shipping and receiving.
7. Weekly review of purchasing from China or other overseas suppliers.
8. Responsible to ensure the cycle count program is maintained and accurate and reports are forwarded to Corporate as requested.
9. Work with Purchasing Manager to ensure all raw materials are received on time to support production schedules without disruption.
10. Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
11. Direct and ultimate accountability to ensure that inventory accounting & reporting is accurate, and any discrepancies are understood, appropriately reported, and promptly corrected.
12. Continually reduce RAW and WIP inventory levels (persales dollar) without disrupting production or adding cost to operations or incoming freight.
13. Purchasing.
14. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
15. Forecasting.
16. Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
17. Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
18. Diagram supply chain models to help facilitate discussions with customers.
19. Communicate with Corporate IT for problems or new IT needs.

Position Supervised or Directed:

• Sales & Operations Planning Manager- Direct report.
• Plant Materials Managers- Indirect Report.

Qualifications, Experience requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Systems.
• 5-7 years of experience in Production Control, Supply Chain, Materials, Operations.

General Requirements:

• Able to travel to other divisions when required.
• Availability to go to the office from Monday to Friday.
• Detailed and hands-on oriented.

Working Conditions:

• Office Environment.
• Periodically exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
• Frequent multi-day business travel is required including international travel.
