Custom Kare Kennel has been a family owned business for almost 30 years. We board, groom and provide day care for pets. We treat everyone, including employees and clients, as family. By working closely together, we keep the environment positive, energetic, and productive.

The back of house kennel technician has responsibilities that include taking care of the most important part of the business. Some duties include but are not limited to: feeding and medicating pets, dishes, laundry, clearing runs of bowls and blankets, scooping and/or spraying out the outside part of the runs, sanitizing runs once dogs have left, light mowing/trimming weeds, some lifting and making sure all dogs are happy and healthy. Being the kennel tech can be a fun and rewarding job, you get to be around dogs and people who love dogs all day. We take pride in what the kennel has become and the kennel techs are a major contribution to our success. Being a team player and willing to help others, staying productive, and getting your work done in a timely manner is very critical in the day-to-day operations. Most importantly you must love animals!

Qualifications:

Qualifications we are looking for is as listed:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 or older
• Be able to pass a drug test before employment
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Work outside in heat or cold
• A good work ethic is a must!
• Reliable

Additional Information:

Looking for a candidate who can work part-time or full-time who can be flexible - hours and pay will be discussed with manager in interview. MUST have dependable transportation.

MUST be able to pass a drug test before employment.
