Job Title: Construction Site Lead/Foreman

Foreman Pay : $25-$34/hr

Team Lead Pay : $22-$25/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Site Lead to organize and lead a crew in a safe and productive manner. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites, maintaining high standards of safety, and fostering team development.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead a crew in a safe and productive manner.

• Track production and complete paperwork daily.

• Maintain a clean and tidy job site.

• Lead by example and teach the crew along the way.

• Relay production goals to the crew and hold them accountable to meet them.

• Work closely with the Site Superintendent.

• Follow company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a heavy equipment operating crew.

• Ability to operate multiple pieces of heavy equipment (Dozer, Track Hoe, Grader) at the highest level.

• GPS (Trimble/TopCon) working experience.

• Proven leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in heavy equipment operation, including excavator, dozer, blueprint reading, backhoe, installation, and concrete work.

• No special certifications required.

• Provide own PPE including boots, vest, hard hat, and gloves.

Work Environment

Work is conducted outdoors in all weather conditions, requiring adaptability to cold and extreme heat. Safety is a top priority, and we emphasize promoting a safe work environment. Employees will work approximately 50 hours per week, weather permitting, and are expected to provide their own PPE.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00/hr.
