Devsecops Student OpportunityThe Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a DevSecOps student that is motivated to contribute and learn DevSecOps principles and technologies. A successful candidate should be enthusiastic and comfortable learning new technologies, as well as adhering to existing processes. We are looking for someone who can stick to a task and pull from many resources.Key Responsibilities:Designs, implements, manages, and documents DevSecOps pipeline tooling from end-to-end following established industry standardsHelps establish secure, reusable solutions and processesSupports a Software Factory via build pipelines and associated toolingAssists in migrating the current on-premises environment to AzureFollows direction from DevSecOps team membersMaintains strict confidentiality of sensitive informationRequired Qualifications:Currently studying in computer science, information systems, or related fieldsA desire to learn DevSecOps, information technology, software development, and build management systemsExperience coding or scriptingStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and with team membersPreferred Qualifications:Experience with common coding tools and software development environments such as Linux, Git, VSCode, GitHub, Jenkins, and DockerStudent Scholar Program: SDL provides unique opportunities for student employees to develop real-world experience and knowledge beyond the classroom through our Student Scholar Program. This program offers monthly technical workshops, outreach activities, and academic stipends to eligible student employees.
