Overview Airgas is Hiring for an OTR Bulk Driver Hazmat and Teams – Guilderland, NY. We are looking for you! Responsibilities Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle (tractor-trailer) combinations, usually long distances, to transport and off-load compressed and liquefied industrial gases to customers or to storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed. Report all accidents, possible injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints, including service interruptions, immediately to your supervisor. Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and Airgas company policy. Required Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age 3+ years experience as driver of tractor-trailer vehicles Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements Must be willing and able to pick loads in Canada. Passport is required but can be obtained through the company. NY enhanced license is also acceptable. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED), two years technical college or military technical experience Three (3) years of HazMat or Tanker experience (preferred) Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases (preferred) Compensation and Benefits Sign-On Bonus $5K (Paid out in increments) Pay rate during training $37.00 per/hr.
