Insurance Defense Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is anticipating a variety of openings for direct hire Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegals in the Detroit Metropolitan area. Many of our clients offer very competitive salaries, full benefits packages, and very reasonable annual billable hour requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred
• Proactive, flexible, with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and legal case management software
• Bachelors Degree and or an A.B.A. approved Paralegal Certificate.

Duties:

• Managing litigation matters from start to finish
• Drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents including notices, pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, exhibit lists, etc.
• Handling discovery and document production
• Summarizing depositions, ordering medical records and summarizing medical records.
• Assisting attorneys with trial preparation and case management
• Conducting legal research as assigned
• Other tasks as assigned
