• Lead the forklift operators in the efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of all supplies, products, and raw materials
• Assist in the set up and control of FEFO Inventory System to ensure uninterrupted flow of product and materials
• Monitor workflow between inbound and outbound loads and adjust staffing accordingly
• Model load and paperwork handling best practices
• Hold teams accountable for scanning and tagging products
• Ensure timely reporting to management of all incidents that would impact food safety and personnel safety
• Serve as a liaison between staff teams to facilitate streamlined communication and minimize load delays
• Assist in staging and preparation of documentation for product and material being picked up or shipped
• Drive process improvement initiatives aimed at gaining efficiencies throughout the DC's
• Create SOPs as needed to ensure consistent methods used by all Forklift Operators
• Provide inventory for forklift operators when needed or when requested
• Communicate with all leads and supervisors with an update at the end of each shift
• Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, quality production and Food Safety

What You Need to Bring:

• 3+ years' experience in Warehousing/Forklift is preferred, but not required
• Regular standing and sitting required for extended periods of time
• Ability to work within warehouse management system and use scanning equipment
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Comfortable in warehouse and production environment that may include noise, dust, production chemicals and variable temperatures
• Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and customer portals
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers and visitors
