Manufacturing Test Technician

Job TitleJob Overview:Requirement/Must Have:High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.Ability to read electronic schematics and circuit diagrams.Experience with bench test equipment: oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators.Component identification and replacement skills.Understanding of analog and digital circuit theory.Responsibilities:Perform component-level diagnosis of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) using schematics, test procedures, and diagnostic equipment.Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers to isolate faults to specific components.Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.Perform continuity checks, voltage measurements, and signal tracing on populated circuit boards.Identify defective resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs, and connectors.Document repairs using depot-level maintenance procedures.Work at an electronics repair bench with ESD controls.Nice to Have:Heavy background in electrical testing and debugging.Military avionics maintenance background (2M, AT, AE, 94F MOS).Experience with military displays (AMLCD, CRT, LED).Security clearance (active or ability to obtain).Skills:Computer Skills Required.Ability to read and follow instructions.Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills.Qualification And Education:Electronics Technology degree or certificate from technical school, or military electronics training (avionics, radar, communications), or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics repair/manufacturing.Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
