Floating Manager

Job Description NAPA IBS is an on‑site Single Source Supply Chain Management program. We procure and manage parts, tires, bulk fluids, and other non‑automotive inventory within our customers' locations. Our customers include airlines, city and county governments, transit, and private fleets. The ideal candidate for this position would reside between Sarasota and Fort Myers, FL. This position has the potential to cover any of our locations in Florida for extended periods of time. Overnight hotel stays will be required. Company vehicle provided. This is a salary position. Work Environment Many of our locations are open Monday– Friday, 6:00am– 5pm, except during emergency situations such as a hurricane or other natural disaster when extended hours, up to or including weekends, or around the clock coverage may be required as we supply the parts that keep fleet on the road operating. We operate inside our customers' facilities which may or may not have air conditioning. Some of our locations have flights of stairs which must be taken to get to and from the upper parts area. Some locations only have 1 employee, so while covering you could be working alone. Responsibilities Provide an outstanding and a very high level of customer service with our partner and customer. Acknowledge and process part requests from technicians in the IBS HUB computer system. If required, locate assets in shop and acquire additional information such as VIN, serial, or identifying part numbers to assist in sourcing items. Fulfill all work‑order requests by utilizing various approved IBS vendors. Ensure the site is using the approved non‑company line codes appropriately. Assist in receiving supply/stock orders, including barcoding items and placing them in the correct location on the shelf. Assume responsibility for inventory protection, asset management, and operational issues. Ensure proper processes and procedures are used to minimize inventory shrinkage.
