Registered Nurse - Oncology

$2420.80/week - Job Summary: The Oncology RN is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to cancer patients, supporting their treatment plans and ensuring optimal health outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and compassionate patient interaction. Responsibilities: Assess patients’ health status and develop individualized care plans tailored to oncology treatments. Administer chemotherapy, medications, and other treatments following established protocols. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond promptly to emergencies. Educate patients and families about treatment processes, side effects, and post-treatment care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Qualifications: Possess a valid California RN license in good standing at the time of submission. Have at least 3 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in oncology nursing; 5+ years preferred. Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ONS, or ONC certifications.
