NICU Respiratory Therapist - Part-Time Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Part-time position available for the night shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. No weekends.

The NICU Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role includes the assessment, treatment, and management of infants with respiratory issues, as well as collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of infants' respiratory status.
• Administer respiratory treatments as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff in developing and implementing care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate parents and caregivers about respiratory care and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
• Previous NICU experience is highly desirable.
