Physical Therapist Location: Highlands, NC Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,966 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position AlliedTravelCareers is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Highlands, North Carolina, 28741. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients admitted to the hospital with a strong rehab mindset, focusing on treatment rather than evaluation only. Perform procedures on OT evaluations and treatments as needed. Provide therapy indoors and outdoors, utilizing lift equipment, a large rehab gym, and available resources. Work with unit staff (CNAs, techs) to support patient care in a unit where patient ratio is one per hour. Document patient progress in Cerner and follow unit guidelines and policies. Qualifications Active state license as a Physical Therapist. Standard OT state license is required (as per unit policy). BLS or BLSD (Basic Life Support) certification. Minimum 1 year of experience in a rehab setting preferred. Core Exam – Allied/Non-Nursing and Physical Therapist Exam completed.
