The IT Coordinator is responsible for supporting the internal IT team by performing departmental administrative and coordination tasks related to new hires, exits, asset & inventory administration, account administration, etc. This position provides internal customer service to end-users and develops great partnerships and working relationships with internal business partners. The IT Coordinator performs the role’s core responsibilities and is assigned additional departmental administrative and coordination tasks and projects dependent upon the changing technology demands/commitments of the IT team. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates all IT-related onboarding and exit procedures for new and departing employees Delivers the IT new hire orientation; answers frequently asked questions from new hires related to equipment, set-up, MS Office 365, licenses, IT training, etc. Maintains hardware asset inventory list; communicates with accounting partners to reconcile/update fixed assets Responsible for software/license administration and maintenance Performs inventory management system responsibilities to include running Lansweeper reports, identifying software installed, users needing updates, manually entering updates as needed, etc. Collaborates and partners with IT team members in the resolution of companywide IT issues Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of privileged information, files, and accounts Maintains digital systems records and compiles reports from database as needed or requested Administers/maintains cellular phone accounts as directed Provides excellent general customer service to internal users; communicates general information regarding computing policies, cyber security policies, and answers frequently asked questions Performs regular data entry, daily workflows, and other routine administrative/departmental support responsibilities Practices and promotes ethical computing Promotes and supports an inclusive work environment QUALIFICATIONS 1-3+ years of relevant administrative/coordination and customer service experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated interpersonal skills reflecting tact, professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy Well-organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Possesses a proficiency with general computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office 365 and team collaboration software (Teams, GoToMeeting, Zoom, etc.) preferred Experience with mobile device (iOs, Android) support preferred Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to new challenges Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, and as a member of a team Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a variety of unique and diverse people and personalities Possession of a valid driver’s license and can travel when requested BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION Mark Thomas offers a fantastic benefits and compensation package to include: Competitive salary and incentives to include employee referral bonuses, certification and licensing incentives (PLA, PLS, PE, LSIT, EIT), and eligibility for year-end performance incentives 401k and ESOP retirement benefits to include profit sharing and a 401k match Paid-time off benefits to include PTO, public holidays + additional holidays, bereavement leave, jury/civic time, licensing & certification exam time Employer-paid vision insurance, basic life insurance, short-term & long-term disability, inclusive family planning & fertility resources, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), travel insurance, and in-house wellness education & challenges Voluntary medical and dental insurance, life insurance, and pet insurance FSA programs for medical, dependent care, commuter & parking Reimbursements for certification and licensing exams and study classes and materials Tuition reimbursement, paid annual dues for industry professional/societal organizations, memberships, and events Budgeted time for training and career development Flexible schedules and hybrid and primarily remote work environments The offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
