In this access control role, you will help maintain a secure environment through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening, credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or shipping documentation, and help to control authorized access to the location in accordance with posted policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document observed activity through required reports and logs. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, dock areas, yard, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contact. Support daily operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by communicating with site personnel, directing foot and vehicle traffic as needed, and helping to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
