Physical Therapist I: Full Time, Atlantic Visiting Nurse, Morris County

If you answered yes to either question, then apply NOW! Atlantic Health is seeking a full‑time Physical Therapist for the dynamic Atlantic Visiting Nurse Department to work 8am‑4pm in Morris County. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat patients in the patient’s home and be part of a collaborative team of health providers. At least one year of work experience is strongly preferred. Atlantic Visiting Nurse provides personalized care for patients with chronic illnesses, disabilities, post‑hospitalization recovery, or end‑of‑life needs in six counties throughout New Jersey: Morris, Somerset, Essex, Sussex, Union, and Warren. Principal Accountabilities Perform initial examinations and differential diagnosis. Provide and prescribe plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise. Perform manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more. Supervise and interact with support staff and maintain proper documentation. Evaluate and establish a plan of care and treat patients accordingly. Document patient care and charges appropriately, and document the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment. Work with other professionals in an effective manner. Provide clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions. Evaluate patient response to treatment and provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Evaluate and treat patients in their homes. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED (required); Bachelor's in Physical Therapy (required); Master or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred). Minimum Experience: At least one year of experience in home care (strongly preferred). License/Certification: NJ License in Physical Therapy; BLS (preferred); Valid and unrestricted Driver License with a clean driving record (required).
