Location: Avon, IN
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Compensation:
Traveler: $62-$66/hr ($2,480-$2,640/week)
Local: $52-$56/hr ($2,080-$2,240/week)
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a healthcare team in Avon, Indiana. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, operate specialized imaging equipment, and provide high-quality patient care while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations in a hospital setting.
Schedule- Shift: Day Shift (4x10-Hour Schedule)
- Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and ensure image quality.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care and support.
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Assist with quality assurance activities and equipment maintenance.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and workflow management.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Current Indiana Nuclear Medicine License required.
- CNMT or NMTCB Certification required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Community hospital experience required.
- Cerner experience required.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and imaging protocols.
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
