Licensed/Prelicensed Child Mental Health Therapist - Manassas

Compensation $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Role Summary Ellie Mental Health Manassas seeks licensed and pre-licensed therapists to provide mental health services to children and teens in the community. Responsibilities and Duties Offer therapy services for individuals, families, and groups. Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation including session progress notes, continual assessments, treatment plan reviews, and contact notes according to company guidelines and protocols. Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 30 client visits per week. Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team. Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals. Advocate for clients by coordinating services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed. Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training. Necessary Requirements Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field from an accredited college or university. Full Virginia clinical license (LPC, LCSW, etc.) preferred. Experience completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to complete and submit documentation promptly. Experience and comfort working with children ages 5 to 12. Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients. Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base. Belief in possibilities. Proficient in standard office technology (computers, e‑mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (experience with Valant a plus). Fluent in a language in addition to English (preferred).
