As a Caregiver, you will provide companionship and assistance with daily activities to seniors and individuals in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. General Accountabilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance as needed.

• Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining a respectful and professional relationship with clients and their families.

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client needs and dietary requirements.

• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying living areas, washing dishes, and maintaining a safe environment.

• Provide medication reminders as directed by the client's care plan.

• Observe and report changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervisor.

• Assist with errands, shopping, transportation, and appointments when authorized.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and client observations.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable state regulations.

• Respect client confidentiality and maintain compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards.

• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and dependable attendance.

• Attend required trainings, meetings, and continuing education as assigned.

• Promote client safety, independence, dignity, and quality of life at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the caregiver position.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous caregiving, home care, personal care assistant (PCA), certified nursing assistant (CNA), or related experience preferred but not required.

• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to providing quality care.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and follow care plans and instructions.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.

• Ability to assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.

• Ability to pass a background check and any required screenings.

• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist clients as required by the care plan.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
