Responsibilities Payroll Coordinator Ensure timecards are complete, accurate, and ready for payroll processing in preparation for the bi‑weekly and semi‑monthly payrolls. Includes both exempt and non‑exempt employees across multiple states. Manage workflow to ensure all pre‑payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Run daily, weekly and per period timekeeping reports to support HR partners and production leadership for proactive data accuracy. Audit and reconcile the time‑keeping system to ensure compliance with company policy and procedure. Ensure compliance with payroll audits. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate pre‑process reports to ensure accurate processing of data changes. Manage and respond to employee payroll‑related tickets through the internal ticketing system, providing accurate information and timely resolutions in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Support the off‑cycle payroll process for supplemental bonuses, incentives, relocation, and long‑term incentives as required. Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll information, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Continuously innovate time‑keeping and payroll solutions and process improvement. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements To ensure the health and safety of employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator. Qualifications Education Associate’s degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Essential Qualifications Must have working‑level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Minimum of 3 years experience processing payroll or experience with a time‑keeping system for 1,000+ employees. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing or related experience preferred. Experience with Workday preferred but not required. Demonstrated comfort in multi‑national environments. Clear prioritization to advance efforts on multiple fronts. Flexibility – critical for a start‑up environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel with the ability to perform advanced data analysis and reporting. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to set and achieve goals and deadlines. Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi‑task. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Customer service and resolution skills. Physical Demands Percentage of time required for physical activities during the normal workday: Sit 70%, Walk 15%, Stand 10%, Lift 5%. Manual lifting of up to 10 lbs, 20 lbs, and 35 lbs is occasional. No team lift over 35 lbs required. Tools and equipment: Keyboard/Computer continuous, Office equipment (fax, copier, 10‑key) frequent, Telephone frequent.
