Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED)

Weekly Pay (36 Hours)

• Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,200
• Weekly Taxable Pay: $954
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,246

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, stabilization, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions
• Respond to trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and other medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN License required
• American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required:
  
  • BLS
  • ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Experience in a large, busy hospital Emergency Department required
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Charge Nurse experience
• Experience with trauma and critical care patients
