Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing electrical contracting team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and mission-critical projects. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of electrical systems, estimating software, takeoff procedures, and value engineering. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
- Review plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Develop labor, equipment, and material cost analyses.
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions.
- Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and field personnel.
- Maintain accurate bid records and estimating databases.
- Assist in project handoff following contract award.
- 5+ years of electrical estimating experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of NEC codes and industry standards.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Design-build and negotiated project estimating.
- Healthcare, data center, manufacturing, or institutional project experience.
- Value engineering and conceptual budgeting.
- Project management or field electrical experience.
