Seasonal Groundskeeper

GroundskeeperThe Groundskeeper is responsible for the maintenance of landscaping and other Club facilities, including parking lots.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUse equipment and hand tools to maintain lawns, prune bushes and trees, edge walkways, and give the grounds a manicured look.Operate snow removal equipment during the winter to keep all walkways, parking lots, and building entrances clear and safe.Watering, either manual or through an irrigation system, for the entire campus.Perform special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary, such as seasonal plantings for the entire campus.Seasonal placement and removal of all outdoor furniture, grills, etc.Installation and removal of all seasonal décor.Assist in performing regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn care equipment and tools.Assist in preparing clay tennis courts for the season.Maintenance of the greens for a 3-hole golf course.Maintain the bocce ball court.Must be dependable and able to work the schedule required.Must have the ability to complete tasks with little supervision.Strong attention to detail.Knowledge of and ability to perform the required role in emergency situations.All other duties as assigned and not outlined above.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to communicate or exchange ideas by means of spoken word to Members, Guests, Vendors, Managers, and Team Members.Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as probability, division, addition, subtraction, and multiplication.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
