Inventory AuditorSurestaff (parent company to Cardinal Staffing) is partnered with an inventory auditing company through the United States. As an Inventory Auditor, you’ll visit gas stations and convenience stores to perform accurate inventory counts and report results to store managers. Work includes freezers, coolers, stockrooms, and the sales floor. Commute is in addition to your workday; teams must arrive on-site by 6 AM, so some days you may leave as early as 3 AM.Pay: $19/hrLocation and TravelDaily travel is required to gas stations and convenience stores within a 3-hour radius of your home baseYou must arrive on-site by 6 AM; commute time is in addition to the workdayDepending on distance, you may need to leave home as early as ~3 AMMust have a valid driver’s license, active car insurance, and pass a motor vehicle checkHoursTypically, 36–40 hours per week, Monday–FridayWorkdays are not set shifts; end times vary depending on workloadMost days wrap up between 1 PM and 5 PM (not including commute time)Any travel time over 30 minutes is paid for as time worked and any mileage is reimbursed.ResponsibilitiesCount physical inventory accurately using a 10-key machineWork in a small team (typically 2-3 people) visiting 1-2 stores per dayWork in freezers, coolers, stockrooms, and on the sales floorProvide end-of-audit reports to store managersAddress inventory discrepancies and problem-solve on-siteCommunicate with your division manager about client-specific concernsComplete administrative tasks such as payroll transmission and invoicingCoordinate daily travel and carpooling logisticsProvide training, coaching, and development of auditors in order to build skillsRequirementsLift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, bend/squat, and operate keypadComfortable working in various temperature environments (freezers/coolers)High school Diploma or GEDReliable Wi-Fi access; laptop provided for daily reportsNotice Regarding the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Employment DecisionsIn accordance with state mandates, we are providing this notice to inform all applicants and employees that artificial intelligence (AI) tools may be used at various stages of our employment processes.
