Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

A military defense company that develops high-power directed energy laser systems is looking to hire a Sourcer to support hiring efforts across its technical, engineering, functional, and product teams. On a day-to-day basis, this person will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to identify, engage, and qualify top talent for both current and future hiring needs. They will leverage tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, employee referrals, and other sourcing channels to build candidate pipelines for highly specialized aerospace, defense, and technical positions. This individual will create personalized outreach campaigns to engage passive candidates, conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications and fit, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing process. They will also track sourcing metrics, manage candidate information within the company's applicant tracking system, and continuously analyze market trends and hiring activity to refine sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate has sourcing experience within aerospace, defense, or another highly technical industry, is data-driven, highly organized, and excels at building relationships with hard-to-find talent. This is a 12-month contract opportunity based in Longmont, CO, with a fully onsite schedule 5 days/week. This role offers options for early conversion for top performers, and the team's ultimate goal is to convert someone to a permanent member of their team. This role can pay anywhere between $38-$50/hr, with conversion salary coming in at or above that rate.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related field

4+ years of experience in recruiting and sourcing, specifically for aerospace, defense, or highly technical skillsets

Strong skills in LinkedIn Recruiter
