Scratch Cook Opportunity

Are you a culinary enthusiast with a passion for creating delicious and wholesome meals from scratch? Do you have experience in preparing meals from fresh ingredients? If so, Elim Shores Independent and Assisted Living in Eden Prairie has an opportunity for a Scratch Cook to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for prepping and cooking our residents' favorite meals from scratch and help create new menu ideas.

Position Type: Full-Time

Shifts Available: Friday - Monday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Wage Range: $18 - $22 /hour dependent on experience

Location: 7900 Timber Lake Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55347

Cook Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to residents by leading and motivating team members to provide fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
• Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards. This will also include feature/specials and grill service. (Typically by scratch)
• Inspect kitchen for conformance to government and company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Review planned meals and take note of special diet requests.
• Observe and report on low stock or high-demand choices.
• Follow and understand diet restrictions and modifications.
• Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory standards of food service at the community.
• Perform additional tasks as required

Cook Qualifications

• Prior experience in scratch cooking required.
• Prior Corporate Dining, Senior Living, or Country Club experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
